It is with great pleasure that I write to you in recommendation of Mark Holmes. This gentleman served as mentor to multiple students, facilitated student advisory sessions related to financial literacy, and was a co-planner in the creation of Career Day at Cesar Chavez Public Charter School for Public Policy. Mark was more than just a mentor or volunteer; he was in fact our neighbor. He literally lived next door to the school.
Our partnership started in 2015 and sustained until the school closed due to lack of enrollment, forcing three (3) campuses into one (1) in 2018. However, during those three (3) years, I have considered him and his contribution an invaluable asset to any school or professional community.
